Application
Before beginning the application, make sure you have the following information:
A resume or CV
A letter of recommendation from a professional reference (department head, admin, lead teacher, etc.)
Personal written statement of the importance of teaching financial education, why you want to become a Financial Literacy Master Teacher, and your commitment to sharing your expertise with educators across your school, district, and/or state.
A head shot to be used for promotional material.
A short biography about yourself to be used in promotional materials.
Upon submitting a completed application and being selected as a SCFLMT candidate, you will receive information on the required Financial Literacy content-knowledge assessment, the W!SE Educator Certification Test. It is an expectation that our Financial Literacy Master Teachers receive a score of 70% or higher on this assessment.
